Artist/Designer Melissa Garsen has been a fashion designer for over 20 years and has just launched her own side business of leather bracelets called "Plan Bee".  Her hand-crafted bracelets are all one-of-a-kind and are made with either vintage jewelry or are hand-painted and embellished with stones and studs.  Melissa's love for vintage jewelry is what inspired her to use her broken antique jewelry and create the "mixed media" style bracelets.  She loves the idea of mixing old and new and giving old things new life.  A third generation Angeleno, Melissa lives in a historic area of Los Angeles along with her husband and 10 year old twins.
